Angela was born and raised in rural South Georgia. She grew up in a very small, but close knit community. Angela also lived in and traveled to several different countries throughout her childhood. She excelled in athletics and attended college on a full athletic scholarship for distance running. She moved to Florida in 2007 to pursue her dreams of surfing and professional running. The best day of her life was in 2010 when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter. She moved to Cocoa Beach with her daughter in 2018 from Melbourne Beach. She lives alone with her daughter, Savannah and two dogs, Daffy and Tokyo
Angela graduated from Clayton State University and has a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice. Angela went to Florida Real Estate School and is a licensed realtor in the State of Florida. Angela has also had several certifications in first aid and CPR. She was an American Red Cross certified lifeguard and swim instructor. Angela was an ACE certified personal trainer.
Angela began lifeguarding as a young teenager in highschool and continued throughout her college career. She was a swim instructor and lifeguard for the U.S. Navy in Yokosuka, Japan. When she moved to Florida she began running for a race organizing company called Wild Side Online and they became one of her many running sponsors for several years. She also worked many jobs in the service industry and was a beach attendant at beach rentals. She began Underground Runners, Inc which was her own race organization company and organized three of her own races. She has been a parkour coach at Tumbleweeds Gymnastics and a coach for Orange Theory Fitness. She has had jobs as a surfing instructor as well as a kayak tour guide, She currently owns and operates beach rentals for Coconuts on the Beach as Space Coast Beach Rentals, LLC and is a real estate agent for Coconut Properties Florida Real Estate, INC. Realty Space Coast.
Enforcing established ordinances to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for the residents and visitors alike. We need our visitors and we need our short term rentals, but our residents deserve a healthy balance that supports economic growth.
Providing more information to visitors about our city, beach rules, beach etiquette, and the dangers of the ocean.
Coming up with creative ways to bring more revenue to the city and to continue reducing the city debt. Focusing on what needs to be repaired within the city before new projects take place.
Reducing the amount of trash on the beach and throughout the city. Continuing to beautify the city for our residents as well as our visitors.
Creating a work program for high school students in which they can learn about various businesses and departments throughout the city.
Keeping the lifeguards, firefighters, and police properly funded are extremely important to this beach town. These agencies protect us and save many lives each year and with out them this city would fail.
